As we welcome the dawn of 2025, China's international "circle of friends" has sent warm wishes to mark the occasion. Erik Nilsson, a seasoned American journalist who has been telling China's stories for 18 years, recently expressed his hopes in fluent Chinese during an interview with China News Network, wishing all his Chinese friends success, good health, and happiness.
Linjie Chou Zanadu, a Chinese scholar and associate professor at the European Center for Peace and Development, highlighted China's rapid technological advancements. He predicted that Chinese electric vehicles will expand into more developing countries, becoming synonymous with advanced technology and reliable quality. Furthermore, under frameworks like BRICS cooperation and the Belt and Road Initiative, China is set to further demonstrate its responsibility and strength as a global power. (Lin Zhuowei)
黄永宏表示了谨慎的乐观，相信会有成果。他认为，中美关系是区域和全球的核心议题。中美目前并不处在能以解决核心分歧为目标的阶段，外界也并没有如此期望。但中美双方可以在经济、防务，以及气候变化、巴以冲突等问题上达成共识，并且应该持续推进这种共识，以保证任何可达成的或之前达成共识的事情，不会被其他问题干扰。

冯录召教授10月31日在丁香园呼吸时间刊文中表示，首先，近年来新冠防控措施使得流感活动强度降低，流感患病人数减少，因而人群易感性可能增加；其次，流感病毒亚型种类多。今年年初流感以 H1N1 为主，而当前主要流行的是 H3N2流感病毒。另外，总体上流感感染几率较高，尤其高危人群如老年、慢性病、婴幼儿、孕妇等，感染后可能出现重症甚至更严重的临床结局。④
